A logotype that has worked for years

The York logotype was designed in 2012 as part of a rebranding project carried out at Morski Studio in Poznań, based on a carefully prepared brief. It was created for a brand producing cleaning accessories and tools, including cloths, mops and brooms.
¶ It was one of my first major real-world implementations. After more than a decade, the mark still feels current and continues to be used by the brand across a broad product and retail context. For me, it remains an example of logotype design based on custom-drawn letterforms, brand fit and a durable solution resistant to short-lived trends.
