Logotype refinement for a Belgian bakery

The project was created at the invitation of Brussels-based ōnō studio, which developed the visual identity for Copains, a Belgian bakery drawing on Belgian breadmaking tradition and hand-crafted baking.
¶ My task was logotype refinement, meaning the refinement of the letterforms within an existing logotype concept. The work included optical corrections, developing the final letter shapes, curve optimisation, and preparing clean vector files and an OTF version to make the mark easier to use. It is an example of a collaboration in which specialist work on letterforms brings an existing logotype concept to its final form as part of a larger visual identity system.
