Time for sun and rest

Summer is an original lettering project based on a free-flowing script form with an almost monolinear stroke. It was created as a practice-based exploration of the individual rhythm of letters, their connections, proportions and resolved form. The process moved from a calligraphic sketch, through pencil and digital drawing, to final vector refinement. The lettering, photographs and graphic elements work together to build a light, summery atmosphere for the project.
