Block Letter

Lettering inspired by the
modular geometry
of Polish housing blocks

Block Letter is an original lettering project based on a dense, geometric construction of letterforms. Its compact structure refers both to a typographic block and to the experience of growing up among prefabricated housing architecture in Poland.
¶ The project shows how lettering can work at the same time as a sign, an image and a carrier of narrative that goes beyond the literal sound of the word.
